- Deliver letter to Lucas in the Charred Forest.
- Find the Ferric named Ninebark in the Camp Calluna.
- Collect 5 Burdock Thistles from Stinkbirds in the Hatchwood Wilds. (5/5)
- Return to Lucas with the Burdock Thistles.
- Return letter and thistles to Captain Meelie
- Quest giver: I'm sorry if I've been acting a little distant lately. My Mom has been sick and isn't showing signs of improvement. She seems to have a bad case of the Haze Lung.
I really need to get in touch with my brother Lucas. He needs to visit our Mom before anything horrible happens. Could you hunt him down and give him this letter? It's very important. I last heard he was in the Charred Forest. So if you could head out there and give him the letter, I would really appreciate it.
- Reward: 10 XP, new Sprocket (Captain Meelie: Gretchen Hardy), Airship in a Bottle
- Notes: Lucas will refer you to Ninebark, who is hanging on the left side wall of the room he is in. He will ask for 5 Burdock Thistles which drops from Stinkbirds. New ones will appear in the nearby rooms; they will respawn when you leave the room and come back without having to leave the map, so take advantage of that. Show them to Lucas, who then points you back to Meelie.
