Hazegrubs are grubs that act like Cactigrubs, but will become small and emit poisonous Haze when hit.

Tips & Attacks[]
Any contact with a Hazegrub causes poison. It can be stalled by ducking and facing left and right, this will make it try to move in front of you like the watergrub. Doing this is easier when they are in their deflated state, which only lasts about 7 seconds.

Attack at maximum distance.
Ferric[]
Attack from bottom if possible, and avoid Haze. The best method is to stand near the grub (but not too close) and use an up swing attack. This will repel all Hazegrubs in range and they will float back. If you do not move, and repeat this method, you should be able to kill the Hazegrubs without being touched. Don't try to divebomb or jump attack, you'll most likely get hit by the Haze and poisoned.
Crag[]
Attack from bottom if possible, or at maximum range on the sides. Downswiping carefully should also work. Do not swing or grapple into them.

No sprocket currently exists for this mimic, but we have been assured that one is on the way.
Quest Relevance[]
Hazegrubs are only featured during Hazegrub Hunt (CM0006).
To the right is a map of all 30 Hazegrubs. There are 12 in the Woods, 8 in Camp Calluna, and 10 in the Charred Forest
Trophy Farming[]
Since this mimic just only available during the quest "Hazegrub Hunt(CM0006)", the only way to farm this mimic is to accept the quest, kill some or all of them, abandon the quest and start it again.
