- 20 Zinc Ores are required to make a Brass Roll and a Zinc Roll in the sidequest Skyward Thoughts (MX0004).

Zinc Farming Route[]
The red line is the suggested route
Travel to Ridgeback Highlands, River Checkpoint. Go left for some easily killed (and rare!) mimics. From here go one room up to the room containing many Toy Recluses, a Bruinscale, Matterhorn and a Mimitaur. Kill all of these, and go left. Kill the three Toy Recluses, the Black Recluse and the Boulder Bison. Again, go left and kill the Bison, Catlick, Hackworm and Crawback. Return to room one and repeat.
This route provides four mimics who have high Zinc drop rates, and includes two Manglers, two Pinwheels and an Electrawog, some of the rarest mimics in the game.
